germany is experiencing an energy crisis after the flow of pipeline gas from russia was cut off following that country’s invasion of ukraine. in february 2023, a group of master’s students from northwestern university’s medill school of journalism went on a week-long “medill explores” trip to germany to learn about and write stories on german energy and climate policies. witness their journey through photos taken along the way!
