textile waste is one of the fastest-growing problems around the world.  most textiles could be reused/recycled, however, about 85% of textiles thrown out annually ends up in the landfills.  this story discusses various ways to sustainably recycle textiles such as secondhand shopping, clothing swaps, and upcycling textiles into new creations.
