contributortommey jodie (she/they) is diné from teesto, arizona, and grew up in winslow. she is a senior at the university of arizona, studying nutrition & food systems, food studies, and creative writing (poetry emphasis). her passions center around indigenous food sovereignty, storytelling, and community wellness, with a focus on how land and culture shape identity. she is the editor of beauty all around us, an indigenous youth food sovereignty zine, and a forthcoming contributor to the home anthology, and living well with sugar: flourishing with diabetes across cultures. tommey’s work blends academic research, creative writing, and community care to imagine more just and nourishing futures.
