whether it be through a pen or a camera, i focus on crafting in-depth, original stories, driven by passion and fueled by the people. i am a journalism major at ithaca college with minors in environmental studies and spanish, currently working as a correspondent for planet forward and freelancing for the ithaca times.
my passion lies in protecting the environment and ensuring a sustainable future. i became a journalist to make a difference, to educate and inspire. from covering how students photographed australian wildfires to writing about the impacts of local colonization, i hope to use my platform to elevate lesser-heard voices and look at the root causes behind these issues.
