contributori am graduating from middlebury college in may of 2022, with a major in geography. my coursework has been focused on environmental science, human-wildlife relations, and geospatial technologies.
i hope to utilize my skills in cartography, gis, data science, and storytelling to increase data literacy, support conservation efforts, and promote sustainable innovation. effective change-making begins with human connection and the understanding that knowledge precedes response. this takes connection, creative communication, and an artful re-framing of what is versus what can be.
having grown up in naples, florida, i have a particular appreciation for marine and coastal communities. i love to "be where my feet are", whether that's on my home turf, or traversing the unknown. i've retraced my ancestral roots and lived on farms across sweden, assisted with fieldwork for land-use change research in uganda, and worked on voter-accessibility campaigns in colorado during the 2020 election. when not exploring via bike or sail, i love to dance, garden, and bake sourdough bread.
